hi when splitting the carbs on an 1100 [2 halves] does it need a gasket after you have

rebuilt the carbs if so where do you get this gasket or can you use silicone to seal

the 2 halves together.

my water pump was leaking so i bought a water pump and a gasket kit to repair

when the tranny cover came off the bike a metal collet and a washer approx 1in wide

fell out would anybody know where the came from and of course where they go when

putting back together??

thx for your great help

gumby.

For the carbs , Its surely better to use a new plenum gasket . The old one may work or it may leak . You can source one at Randakks ....

Absolutely do not use silicone anywhere near a carburetor. Get a seal from Honda or Randakks.
The washer and stopper might be off the shift drum stopper, if so there is a nut, lock washer, a spring and the stopper arm in there somewhere too.
