Hi I just had a bad rebuild on my 1100 gw carbs. The #4 card is leaking gas
From the side. Several people say that the float pistons are leaking and should be replaced. Have pulled the pistons and can find nothing wrong visually with them the floats are set correctly 15mm the air cutoff valve looks good.

So can anyone advise I hope it's not the carb gasket ugh. Will have to redo.
The boneheads that did the job closed up shop and moved to pa to start new
And screw again.

floats don't have pistons, they have needles which sit in seats. sounds like yours isn't closing properly. you may have to readjust the float.

If it is leaking from the side next to #2 it is probably the o-ring on the fuel tube to #2.
