For some reason I can't get this to post.
Trying again, 1200 backrest with brackets, missing something I don't even know what is.


Asking $50 + shipping.

The picture came up for me. Good looking backrest

I have one similar to that but I don't know what is missing. I think it may be a spring loaded pin that goes in the slot and snaps on one of the round locations.

I took mine off to make more room for passenger.

Don't you just love when someone responds with "I don't know."

Looks like the Markland backrest I had on my 1200. No springs on it...just a set of screws on each side with knobs on them (that kept breaking) that were the pivots and a post on each side that rested on the bracket when the backrest was in the upright position. There were also bushings on each side that the pivot screws went through that acted as stand offs to align the posts that sat on the brackets. That probably doesn't make and sense to anyone but me, but I understand what I mean....

It has the knobs with screws on the ends and pins that fit in the holes in the brackets but nothing for the screws to screw into.

Dave, Is it as brown as it looks in the Pic??? I Have Black Seat unfortunately......Or I'm all over it. Dave

Yes it is brown but someone else had a black one for sale I think.
