Man, that is like about 700 miles per year for its 21 year life. What were the PO's doing with it?? At 14,000 miles, you should not have very many problems with ity for a very long time. Great find.

If a bike has already been hard wired at the stator plug and the regulator; and the fusable link has been replaced with an automotive weather proof spade fuse, how much additionalimprovement would one of these harnesses provide?

There are always exceptions to every generality, and when I read post after post from riders who are totally satisfied with their Goldwing, my opinion of them is not swayed by one or two exceptions.

It is unfortunate, but mechanical failures can and do happen--on ALL motorcycle brands.
