Welcome to the World's best GoldWing forum jpwalter!

Your most expensive option is to go with the OEM equipment. You won't find any of it new, unless it's new old stock, and it will all be expensive, likely more than $1000.

There are other options though. The least expensive option is the MotoComm Riderlink system. It has it's pros & cons, but is a very nice system for the price. If you do a search for MotoComm on the forum you will find my review of the system. The kit comes completewith the intercom system, two headsets that can be installed in either full face or open face helmets, or of course modular helmets too. It has all the hook up cables for an MP3 or other audio source, cell phone, GPS/radar detector, & two-way radio. I used mine with a Maxon and then a Midland hand-held CB radio, all for around $250.

Autocom has a very nice system too, but a bit more expensive. The headsets and connectioncables are not included with the base units.

Edit - Just noticed on the Autocom site that the kits now includes the driver headset. Also, they now have a connection cable so the headsets can be used on factory GoldWing systems. :)

Probably the cleanest option it using the J&M systems. The J&M handlebar mount CB system has a built in intercom and an input for an MP3 audio source. You have to buy the headsets separate for this system too, but the added advantage is the headsets will work with the factory GoldWing systems should you upgrade to a newer bike someday.

what years are the 1000's?

I am looking for a set of front turnsignals for a 79 GL1000. (They are rectangular not round.)

Do you have photos of the 1000's that you can email, and asking price?
