I am about to overhaul my front forks and have a few questions

Whay are there 2 springs? What is the reason?

Can the 2 springs be replaced by one progressive spring?

Do the spares from a GL1200 aspencade fit ie dust and oil seals and scrapers?

I am in the UK what oil would you reccomend?

Thanks in advance

#4 Progressive says use 15 wt fork oil. Others on this site say they like 10 wt fork oil for a cushy ride. Oil volume plays a big part in the ride you like.
