My radio made a loud squealing sound at times, found the connector on the back of the radio was dirty. Cleaned both sides of the connector - radio and chassis with soft wire brush, like brass, WD40 as a solvent, dried everything off and used a light coat of electrical contact grease on the connections. Squeal has not returned. BTW, you can do the same procedure on the antenna connection as well. ...Best of Luck.
1200 radio problem
I have a 1986 aspy. Was riding today and radio started making god awful noise, tried changing channels to no avail... It does however work great on am radio but not fm. Any ideas would be awesome.. I have the hondaline 3 radio in the dash with cassette player thank in advance, dave
