Just bought the bike and the previous owner said to keep them at 40psi. Everyone else says 57psi. The bike rides stiff now. What would 57lbs do? I don't want to change it if not neccessary. I know it is not hard but I do want more opinions on it. I am 220lbs and the wife is ?????? pretty close. :?

57psi is the max for the rear shocks, it will make it much stiffer, let the air out and start from zero then add too to what you are comfortable with, the air valve is behind the right cover panel, the front forks should have 6psi max, the air valve is just under the the top of the fork just under the top tree on the right side,(sat on the bike) turn you handlebars to the left for easy access, it may have a cap on it may not

Sounds like a plan. I figured 57psi would just tighten it up. Thanks I will do it this afternoon. I guess a bicycle pump would be in order for the front. Thanks Jim
