A friend rebuilt the air shock this spring, but after 6000 miles it leaks badly. I want to rebuild it, but my Clymer manual says to take it to the dealer and searching for a thread wasn't helpful. I did find some rebuild instructions on the Progressive site. Can anyone tell me if rebuilding the OEM air shock and Progressive 416s are similar?
Any other info or tips would be great.

I too was going to rebuild my stock air shocks but for the price it was going to cost to buy new inner springs and seals it was cheap enough to buy a new set of Progressive 416's. I picked mine up on ebay brand new for $290.00.
