Hi does any one know what the exhaust emission readingsshould be for a 1500 goldwing

Marty thats where I'm going with this as I'm getting poor MPG checked all

other posibilitys and bike runs ok. But Iknow that when I worked in the

motor trade the emissions could be high and still run ok but they would wast fuelso

I will take it to friends on saturday and hook it up on the gas tester ;)

I'm getting 100 (UK) miles to a tank of fuel .Thats from full to the brim
to bottom of the red.Took it to a friends to day put it on emissions tester

and getting very high readings out of both pipesR,H 4.00 andL,H 3.0 .

Tried to adjust the pilot screws but one is siezed :shock:so I will have to remove the carbs tomorrow .Plus I need to know how to connect a tunning tachometer to a wing

so I can set them with out a emissions tester.

Think I have found the problem

1. pilot screw sezied spent 4hrs tring to get it out when I got it out the tip had worn away.

2. The carbneedles have worn. To look at they look perfect but totouch

there worn out.

what mileage do you guys get on the last of the 1500s .

Strange thing is the bike runs perfectpart from the drink problem.
