Are you going with OEM or one of the aftermarket ones from eBay?

Would like to know if using the Honda Accord fuel pump on the 1500 is a good way to go? Looks like a easy fix.

The Accord pump will not last long. Try a NAPA pump #NFP P72190. I have an Airtex #E8371 but it is like the Accord pump. The stock pump puts out 2-4psi. and 10gal.per hr. The NAPA pump is ratted at 4psi. and 15gph.

The Carter P72190 is much cheaper than the NAPA and is the same pump.

Our attempt to fix a 1500 fuel pump with the NAPA pump resulted in 200 good miles, then it died.
Couldn't get $$ back because it wasn't used for what it was made for....automobile.
Went with the OEM from someplace in Flordia for about $270 delivered to our door.
Bite the bullet and get the correct pump....problem solved.

Ditto, on the petcock rebuild.
