Wow! You got a heck of a deal! I thought my deal for the 84 GL1200I with 42000 miles on it for 1500 bucks was about the best deal I've seen, but this one is at least as good.

i haven't bought it. just found it and posted here. it is for sale. there's no phone # so a little suspicious.

I paid less than that for my 88` and only needed some minor tlc.

Mine needed a starter. But I've discovered more stuff to tinker with since then. Timing belts and tensioners, brake pads, an electrical issue or two, and I still need to get a speedo drive unit and replace the front pads to get ready for my first spring on a goldwing. Overall, it was a good deal. I'll be able to sell it for what I have into it, I bet. At any rate, I'll at least have a goldwing and some great hwy to ride it on, and that's what really matters, right? Been dreaming about it for quite a few years.

yes, you wn't have any problem selling it if you choose too.

the only way i'll sell min is to upgrade back to a 1500. had a 98 model but life forced me to get rid of it, and i really miss that one. hope to find anothr one that i can afford soon.
