I have two I am in the process of taking off. They are mounted to the antenna bracket and I don't know how to remove them.

If you can help me remove them I will make you a good deal on them...thanks.

Open the topbox. Dig out all your stuff, look along the "back wall". You'll find 3 phillips screws on each side that hold the "pocket" in place. Remove the three screws, remove the pockets L&R.

This will allow you to get to the bolts that secure the antenna bracket, and thus, the armrests.

I will never use the cb radio. Can I just remove the cb antenna? Can you do anything with the cb radio area (xm radio or something)? And do you know ifthere a smalleram/fm antennaI can put on the bike (GL1500SE)?

Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

The non-CB GL-1500s were not drilled for holes for the CB antenna.

You can simply remove it - but you'll see the holes, and you'll maybe want to engineer a blank plate.
