Can the pinion seal be replaced without tearing the final drive completely down?

Wow! Nobody's chiming in, here.

I don't know about the 15, but on the 12 it can be changed with minimal tear down.

Bummer, in a couple hundred thousand miles on 1500’s, i never had that seal leak, I did have splines wear out from grease washout on big trips, necessitating replacement of the drive and the flange from trike shops. Sorry.
