Can anybody tell me if radiators and hoses varied by year, we bought alloy rad set for the 89 trike and the silicone hoses seem short plus there is a spigot on the bottom of one rad missing(small hose to top of engine block area)

According to Partszilla the right radiator for an 89 is different from the later years.

'88-'91 model years had the small coolant by-pass hose attach to the right radiator, later years went direct to front cover of water pump. Bring the new right radiator to a shop and have them install a hose barb same location as original radiator using it as a guide.

The small hose at the bottom connected both radiators together. Not sure on the silicone hoses. I used OEM hoses when I replaced mine. They fit perfect. That was 10 years ago, so I am not sure if OEM hoses are still available.

The connector hose is at the top, only the rh rad has a small conector at bottom.
CMSNL do list hoses but over£100 plus shipping and import tax
