All started out about a week ago. I tried to start it and it did not crank right away like usual. Took 10-15 seconds. Then i noticed a slight hesitation ( slight ) while riding. This morning it would not start at all. I had to hook up jumper cables because i ran battery down. Fired right up then. Ran rough all day when i accellerated. Mainly between 1500-2500 rpms, under load. Accellerates fine while just sitting and under no load.Rung great as long as RPM/s are up
I have ran seafoam through it and no luck.

Do i need to look at vacum lines or carbs first?

That smells like ignition problems to me. When was the last plug change?

i've read here that you can screw the idle adjustment srewinside lock in and out a few times and that will help. i cannot say for sure as i've never tried it.

i l

just finished rebuilding and syncing carbs on my 89. runs good now. have you checked the synch part of it lately? may just need syncing. at least i would start there. if it is in sync need to take plastics off and look at all hoses. if you find nothing, pull carbs and do though cleaning.

hope this helps somehow.
