Hi all, what a beautiful day it was in western Pa for a ride today. It was while riding I remembered that I want some better shocks on the rear end. I saw some WP's on ebay but they are both air shocks and thought that may be a real problem to hook up. I would like to hear from some who have made the change and what shocks they used and was it worth it? We seem to bottom out some and it's not because we are big ol fatties either. When I had the shocks off a while back I noticed the bushings were oval shaped. 66thousand on the 89 gl1500. thanks for your help . wilburj

Progressives on both ends of my 88 GL1500. When I first got it, it would go around corners, that had a slight bump in them, like a beached whale. With the progressives installed, I never felt the bump again.
