Hi Peeps well a few weeks ago I asked the forum about a strange noise coming from my 1500 gearbox, needless to say when I took it to HDR in Whitfield, DOVER they confirmed your thoughts and it will cost £1800 to fix as the gearbox was naff.
my Brothers being wingers found a 1500 engine,driveshaft,gearbox,starter and alltenator? for sale on good old e-bay which I promptly won .This I collected from Clapton took to HDR who then bench tested it and fitted it to my bike which is now running as sweet as a nut plus i now have some spares ie engine with naff gearbox.
But I digress this is to say thanks to the lads who helped me discover the damage on my wing. it only cost me £750
