I'm chasing a rattle around on my 1500. Sounds like emanating from front near base of shield - my guess right now is it's those brass colored retainers under the windshield bolts. I just put on the firecreek shield and I THINK it may be slightly thinner than the stock shield..........maybe that lets those retainers rattle. Will investigate and report back. Bob

The rattle wasn't the shield, though I did notice that the outboard shield retainers on each side remain "loose" even with the screws tight against their shoulders. I duct taped those just to make sure they didn't rattle.

My rattle was from the interfaces between the shelter, fairing pockets and fairing. I eliminated it by removing the pockets and sticking 1/4 thick foam weatherstripping around the underneath perimeter of each pocket, then putting it all back together. Bob
