Ouch - I ran into that problem on mine with 1 screw - can't imagine 3.
Trying to remember - I think it was on one of the end screws and I was able to get behind it and brace the nut to turn the screw but it kicked my ass for a few hours.

Good luck and hopefully someone will come along with a great idea for you.
