If I put horns off of a 1800 on my 1500 would I
still have to use a relay or would they work off
the stock wiring?

perhaps post this in the tech section, it might be seen better...

My guess is look at the amp ratings of the relay for each. If they are similar, you should be ok...

The point of a relay is to use a low current line to power a high current line. Only the high would be an issue.

I"m not an electrician nor a mechanic but I put some 1800 stock horns on my 1500, plugged right in and no problems in a year. I did have to remove a trumpet.
