I have a chance to trade my 1100 Virago for a 1975 Wing. it has been well cared for and the carbs have been redone. it has some hesitation when idling.

Are there anything I should look for by way of trouble. Did this Wing have a bad STATOR??

Thank you for the info. I am fairly sure I will get the Wing, the reason being as follows:

a] Much langer and more streched out

b] Yes I already have some ideas of personal touches. I think a Wing with out a fairing, but with some bags looks really great.

c] easy maintence and there is lot's of prats.

I saw a man with a 1981 with 1986 Aspencade read bags. The bike had a clear windshield and long fish tail pipes.. it looked very nice.

Anyway, I look forward to being a part of this forum if the bike comes through.

Scott :1000yellow: the bike is actually yellow. Been repainted to this color.

What I love about the early \wing are the unique fuel gauge, also the wire spokes.

Youhave done a great job on yours. Love the color.

The one I am looking at is Yellow, and I have a line on fairings and bags if I want. But I think maybe just the bags, and a windshield.

Scott. Once I get it, hopefully, I will post a picture
