1974 the Honda 750 was the biggest and could beat the then HD's, I know.

I'm such a bad son, I put this in front of my dad and told him that this is what 76 wing looks like before you send it careening over a 12 foot embankment. :D

Wow nice old ad,I had the blinders on then but now i think the old naked wings are truely beautiful.

1975 gl1000 naked, turquoise and all original.
1977 gl1000 dressed in black and soon to run on a 2 barrel weber(i hope)
1978 suzuki gs1000e mint with under 12,000 mi.(What a sweet machine)

I've always thought it would be neat to take one of those and turn it into a dual sport bike (ala BMW GS).

Probably about $20K or so, but given the direction the economy is going, it'll probably be back closer to the 3.2K range by the end of the year. :shock:

I got my bike license in 1968, and back then a 650 was a large bike.:cheeky1: :gunhead:

This was my '77, bought new in '76. It hauled my carcass around Lake Superior 2x, the length of the Blue Ridge & Skyline, and from the Atlantic to the Pacific coasts (not all at once), not to mentiontoo many 3 & 4-day weekend trips to remember. :cool:

The seat is home made by my buddy & myself, and it was good for about 3 hours at a time without monkey butt. Did I mention that I REALLYliked that putt? :action:
