1980 GL1100 head gasket

On one of my previous post I had mentioned that the bike was losing coolant with no visible leaks. Also I have disovered that the number 3 spark plug is wet with oil. I am assuming that the head gasket has to be changed. Does this make sense?

If yes does anyone have a step by step instruction on how to acoomplish the task?

It might be a good idea to get this merged in with your original thread Bob, for the sake of continuity.
Are you sure number 3 plug isn't wet with coolant?
