done!!!

rode it yesterday about 10 weeks after pulling it out of the barn where i left it in 2000 before i left to do mission work, get married and have my daughter in Honduras. some have followed my trivials. some have advised me. thanks for that. others helped by leaving their knowledge for me retrieve when i was unsure what to do. how unselfish and truly touching is that in our world today.

thanks to those who created and maintain this superb site. what a great resouce it truly is.

now i am going to take some advice i got after i had torn down to the pistons and

" RIDE IT LIKE I STOLE IT"

Congrats David,

Looks like you did a great job. Give it a short break-in before you start doing wheelies.

congart's you did a fine job and she looks like a fine daughter, someone to be proud of. Your bike looks very nice too. SouthAmericia fits you well, welcome back. Now go ride that Goldwing and have some fun with it.

I have as 82 1100 standard and would love to find a back rest for passenger. Anyone know where I can find one. I have a back rack like Little guy David's.
Thanks

That looks like an AMCO rack. See if they're still in business. Any AMCO backrest should slide in there.

Awesome bike! Those old wings are eye candy to me! Yours looks great! Your daughter is just a little darlin' too. As man in my forties when my daughter was born, I can say there is something really special about being a bit older and having your act together a little better when you have children. She is obviously loved... that bike and your girl!

Great job... on both counts!

LOVE the smiles .
Noticed the clear windshield on 3rd pic

First of all, it is good to know that there are still people in this world that will put their life on hold to do Missionary work, I would like to also say it takes a special person to be a Missionary and for that I thank you.

The bike turned out really nice and what a daughter, just precious, just one of your benefits for being on your Missionary trip.

Now take time to ride your newly restored bike

GOD Bless,
jerry
