Hi Group

I have a 1981 1100 interstate and I had the carb rebuilt, and a new fuel filter, and a #2 spark plug cap installed but it still has a miss. I thought it was fix but i rode it about 150 miles and the miss cames back, it will clear up but the last time i drove it this way about 15miles and it did not clear up this time:X. I took out all the spark plugs and crank it over and there was a mist of gas like a mister out of #2 cyl the rest was all fine all the other cyl are great and run strong. :)It runs great about 90% of the time. I notice it most when I leave a light it is down on power.

Any info would be great

Thank you

PS the is a great form alot of good infomation on this site

Hi. It sounds like either the plug lead is going bad or the coil itself. Try swapping the #2 coil lead with one off another cylinder/coil and see if the cylinder with the suspect lead misses instead.
