Yep, it just pops up..there is an o ring at the base that's all that holds it in place..I use a putty knife to get it started push it in all around the base cut though the crud that may be there....and then pry a bit until it starts to move then wedge with something fatter..and pull..

The resevour the plastic resevour will turn but it won't come off to see the ports
Below. Is it meant to come off the brake handle I am afraid to snap the plastic

Did my 82 last year. It just popped off but was thinking there may be different styles??? Got a picture by chance? Or wait for the pros.
