I bought my wing that was sitting for over 10 years. Good news bad news. Good = low miles. Bad = foam in seat is in bad shape although the seat itself is fine.

Have any of you redone the seat foam and what density do you recommend?

I get a really sore tailbone after less thanan hour but want to keep it appearing stock so I can get collector plates next year.

It doesn´t cost much to get an upholsterer to redo it,they have the heavy duty stapler to staple the cover back in place afterwards. High density foam is the norm, but you can pay extra and ask them to get some of the memory type foam that adjusts to the riders butt profile.

Not sure what part of the world you are in, but I have an '81 parts bike with an excellent seat. I'll never use it on my '83 since it's shorter, and I love my Travelcade anyways...
