On my 1100 aspencade I purchased pilot driving lights and switched out the 55 watt bulbs for 35watt bulbs could tell very little in light out put but made a big difference on the draw on the electrical system the 1100's do not have alot of extra power for additional lighting
Now that you mention it, you're absolutely right on the charging system. I'm going to forget about that whole idea of driving lights! Thanks for reminding me!

no what I am saying the 1100"s will handle the 35 watt driving lights withno problem just the 55 watt lights tend to work it hard this is a pic of my bike with all my leds and driving lights on and still plenty of power left over Leds are the key to save power so you can use driving lights
Thank -you. I can see that there will be a wealth of knowledge here. A million times more than any shop manual can tell you. Just in the few minutes I've spent here, I'm totally surprised to see and read things I never knew before.
