I would guess it's a good chance the carbs are gummed up. Try squirting a little gas in the plenum. If it starts but doesn't keep running that is the problem.
And compression.Spark is there, air is there, the only thing remaining is gas.

QUESTION: With the new coils, if I had the spark plug cables attached to the wrong plugs, what would happen when it turned over? Would it be obvious?
