Kpritz, my 84 Aspencade does the same thing. I always refered to it as "chuffing" but hiccup works too. If I tweak the choke I can make it disappear and once it warms up it is gone. I just assumed it was normal when it was cold. By the way welcome to a great forum full of great people who know what they are talking about (except maybe for the deeer alert thread - maybe you shouldn't read that one until you are confident about the true abilities of the people on this site, then read it when you have a day to waste. lol) Randy
