can I run into trouble replacing a plastic impeller pump with a steel impeller one ?

the steel impeller is a different shape than the plastic one was. thanks.

No, if it's the right one for the motor, I believe all the replacements are steel.

ekvh. thanks for the info. I checked with a mechanic friend today and he said the steel impellers are the newer ones as the plastic ones didn`t hold up to cavitation very well. mine seems to run a little too warm. temp gage is shot but new one on the way.automotive temp. gages on a wingding I don`t believe can be trusted. samk.
