'82 what? The '83 Aspencade has vented front rotors like the '82 Aspencade, but the '83 uses a thinner pad than the Interstate models. The rear is the same across both years.

EBC catalog shows FA69/2 for the '83 Aspencade, and FA69 for all the other '82 and '83 models.

What I meant was do the front and/or rear pads of a 1982 Aspy or Interstate fit a 1983 Aspy. Are they the same part numbers on both bikes. I guess your answer tells me they are not. I am looking online for pads and want to make sure I get the correct ones. Thanks :bowing:

For the '83, your supposed to use the FA69 for the rear, and FA69/2 for the front. The '82 uses all FA69. Which makes not much sense to me, except the '83 has the TRAC forks, which may change something.

But the only difference between FA69, FA69/2 and FA69/3 (GL1200) is the thickness of the pad.
