I put an aftermarket kit my front mater cylinder recently. According to my Honda manual there was a washer that goes over the piston so the piston doesn't come to rest against the snap ring. The aftermarket kit didn't have one and there wasn't one in it when I took it apart. Does anyone know what the specs are on this washer? THANKS!!!

Seems like someone left it out once upon a time,if the piston length is the same, and it did not have one it is apprently ok to not have one BUT if you can get one ,put it in,it is a copper washer, when you get the master cylinder back on, follow the threads on this site for bleeding.
I just did my 1500 and was forever bleeding until I checked this site.Good Luck
