I put an aftermarket kit my front mater cylinder recently. According to my Honda manual there was a washer that goes over the piston so the piston doesn't come to rest against the snap ring. The aftermarket kit didn't have one and there wasn't one in it when I took it apart. Does anyone know what the specs are on this washer? THANKS!!!

Could be something that was thought to be needed and ended up being ommited.

Seems like someone left it out once upon a time,if the piston length is the same,and it did not have one it is apprently ok to not have one BUT if you can get one ,put it in,it is a copper washer,when you get the master cylinder back on, follow the threads on this site for bleeding.
I just did my 1500 and was forever bleeding until I checked this site.Good Luck
