My question is if the pinout ilustration that is posted in the forum for the 1500 and 1800 goldwing headset is the same for the 1984 1200a goldwing please help me Thanks my Email is [email protected]

They are the same, the same helmet headset will work on all the Goldwing intercoms right back to the 1100 Interstate.

I have used the same J&M headsets for about 6 years on my 1500, 1200 and Alan Fitzers GL1100. So Ambrose is right, they work on all the Wings.

Similar story here. I got a used ste of softlines that a guy had got for his GL1200, but he sold the bike after a couple of months and I bagged the headsets cheap. I've used them on my 1500 and now GL1800, so they work on all the models.

I'll 3rd that. Same JM sets on 1500 & 1800. No problems, except that I think the audio sound in general is better on the 1500. Less HS noise, better autovolume control and higher volume overall from the speakers.
