I am about to change the fork oil on my 1984 Aspencade would appreciate any help on the best oil to use and the amount for each leg.

The back disc is also scoured and was going to have it skimmed, does anyone know the minimum thickness I can go to.

The manual for my 83 Aspencade says 290cc (9.8oz) of ATF. I used Honda fork oil when I did mine.

I know this is a year off. The manual just shows 80-83. Years (80-81) used a less amount.
