:waving:Hello and welcome . Those bikes you mention are first and third generation Goldwings . I am certain there were some frame changes during that time . The 1200 fairing is blended into the faux tank / top shelter . ITs much different from the 1000 wings where the top shelter opened on both sides for access as well as the top opening .



You might find it quite simple to customize your 1000 to use the 1200 fairing and then again it could be a bear to make it fit . I always like to see custom work and the thought process that brought it about . If you try this I think you will want the 1200 top shelter unit along with the fairing . Good luck with this and if accomplished I would like to see pictures . If theres a "wilf ' theres a way .

I've seen GL1100 fairings and luggage on some GL1000's, but I'm not sure about the 1200 stuff as it it tightly integrated into that model.

im sure it can be done, but might be a little hard and wont look that nice. i suggest you to get a 1100 fairing, as dash panel is on the bars, not on the windshield as the 1200. fake tank is also part of the fairing and you will have to fit it or else you will end up with a big hole o the sides
