this is not actually a problem with my bike, its more of a problem with all the cars cutting me off the road.here in quebec(canada) car drivers dont seem to care about motorcycles.i was wondering if any of you that own a 1982 1200 goldwing installed air horns on them, and where to hide them.

i want to scare the crap out of stupid car drivers that dont seem to know that a motorcycle is a vehicule.

if so maybe some pictures of where you installed them.

thanks

84 should be quite similar to 87, i think you'll be pleased:action::waving:

When I drive a car I keep bigger distance to bikes with blinking rear light. It would be probably a good idea to install blinking lights on sides.

I've driven in Quebec. No offense but I don't think the drivers there care about anything, motorcycle, car, truck.....

I got a Stebel on my 83 mounted between the lower fairing and the rad. lot's of fun blowing it while under an overpass!!:shock::shock::D:D

:cheeky1: it's fun to exercise horn anywhere, i especially like to see cagers expression when they realize it came from a mc they didn't see, but by god they heard:cheeky1::action::waving:

boy oh boy , i cant wait to try all thoses places to blow a horn ...lol
i started installing them last night, all i need to install now is the compressor

what kind did you get? the stebel nautilus is all one unit.:action::waving:

i got blazers, dont know if you have them in the states but they make a lot of noise ....lol
cant wait to try them while i ride.
im aalmost finished installing them

don't know if you have mud dobbers but would advise piece of window screen over horn opening to keep critters out:action::waving: good luck and have fun. actually i think in looking for chance to use horn helps you be more aware of surroundings. what a bonus:cheeky1:

What's really fun is to coast up behind an un-suspecting bicyclist and blast him with the horns. Man do they really jump up.:cheeky1:No, I haven't done that but some of those smarty pants smug look at how "green" I am people could use it.:pI do like to pull up to my favorite watering hole and give a short blast. It's my "calling card" sort to speak.

In all seriousness, with a headlight modulator, extra driving lights and the horns, I feel I'm doing everything possible to be seen.

Hobie.

HOPE ITS SUNNY TOMORROW ....LOL

I had a set of air horns on the '66 Chevy truck I used to drive in high school. We had the most fun blasting those things at unsuspecting people back in the day. I have made folks jump into mud puddles, up hills and just about mess their pants. That was some great fun once upon a time.

My dad still has the truck, think I will ride over one day this week and see if I can pull 'em off and mount them to the bike.

and if you would like cntryboy1289 since we have the same bike i could even show you where i mounted mine
