I am selling my project cause I have too many other projects to do and have lost interest.

I have gotten her running, had to change tank(gas) and fuel pump plus new filter.

Put on 2 timing belts, bled brakes, they are good.

You can buy with or without the sidecar.

Bike alone I am asking 1500 and 500 for the sidecar.

I put it on craigslist for 2400 and got 3 responses,no deposits yet.

Can email pictures on request,I am 40 miles ne of atlanta.

It has been sitting for several months and battery is down am charging it now.

Just thought I'd let everyone know, I'm going down Saturday to look at the sidecar.

Can't afford the bike and the sidecar but I can check out the bike for anyone that needs me too.

If it looks as good as that bike... what-a-deal. I wished I was closer.
It does, he sent me some more pics of it in an email. It's already color matched to the LTD so I've got some painting to do this winter. That is if I take it.

I'm taking my son down with me to check out the legroom in it as he is taller than my wife so if he fits then she'll fit. I already have an idea how to replace the seat cushions in it pretty cheap and upgrade to a better seat at the same time.

I'll be checking out the bike as well as the sidecar and posting some pics of the bike for those that are interested in it. I'll try to get them online Saturday night as soon as I get back.

Sidecar is sold! Met Bagmaster today had a nice chat.

He bought it....
Yeppers, I bought it, have to go back down with the truck to pick it up. He still has 3 mount point pieces of hardware to remove from the 1200.

It needs some cleaning up but over all it's in really good condition. Gonna have to get a top made for it as he indicated in the emails to me.

Looks like the bike will finally get painted along with the sidecar this winter.

And the trunk is big enough for a ******* air conditioner!!

Dang it, I'm tired, give me some time to recuperate!! I'll post some pics of the bike and sidecar in a little bit.

Hey, you old geezer, get your butt up here. I got another quart of that apple jack to go along with the other one. This one's got a full stick of cinnamon in it and it'll sneak up on ya!!

Got a lot of cleanup work to do on the attachment hardware. After that then I'll see about getting it setup and tuned to the bike. Once I'm satisfied with it and how it rides then it'll be winter and time to pull it all apart again for painting.

Last night in town i ran into an old school buddy that's been doing body work and auto painting since 1971. His paint jobs have won many an award at the car shows.

Now get this, he has only one good arm since birth. His right arm ends just below the elbow in a stub with 3 nubs, no fingers at all. For the last 3 years he has been the body and paint instructor at the Union County High School here.

I asked him what he'd charge me to do all the paint if I brought him the parts all stripped and ready for paint off the bike and the sidecar and I provide the paint. His offer? $200.00. He figures a total of 5 hrs spray time between coats.

While I was there checking out the sidecar I also took some pics of the 1200.

The stator wires have been soldered and heat shrinked already, charges good. Smokes while running out both sides. srburton says he's never ran it more than a couple of minutes at a time. He said it checks out with 160-170 compression on all cylinders and as he already stated it has new timing belts he installed. Starts real easy with the fuel injection but seems to be running on just 3 cylinders at idle and all cylinders at 3000 rpm's.

Does need new rear tire.

I told him on the phone this morning on how to check the smoke to see if it's oil or antifreeze, forgot that little bit of information yesterday.

No fading as yet of the paint but does need buffing out to really shine. It had some extra lights on the front forks which he has pulled off but the wires are still hanging there on the left side, shows in pics I took.

Radio doesn't work, possible contacts problem or fuse. Trip computer display works fine, lcd clear and easy to read.

Ok, so here's the pics.
