I replaced the switches, but no change. If I keep pressing the set switch it may set every 50-75 attemps. It shows crusie set for about 1/2 to 1 sec. then goes out again. When it does set it works good until I stop again.

have you after market levers? if so they may of worn and no longer making contact on the cancle switches, clutch or brake, have this problem on my old 12 and 1500.

All the cancel switches seam to be working; when I engage any of the switches, the cruise will not even try to set.
