So I have come to the conclusion that I need to do the clutch. If I do not allow it to FULLY engage before I hit the gas, she slips. Never slips as long as I let her fully engage before I hit the gas. She does not slip once engaged at all throttle positions.

Does anyone have a clutch basket I can borrow to setup the new clutch?

I replaced the original clutch plate springs with after-market springs that are stronger and it made all the difference in the world on my 84 650 nighthawk. I use the nighthawk as an example because it too has a hydraulic clutch system.

Question: Do these stronger springs exist for the goldwing clutch?

the spare basket I have only works on the '84/85 clutches (different style on the 86/87 :X) as for the clutch spring, it is a diaphragm type spring, the only one I know of is from mother honda.
