Hi Folks

I wonder if anyone knows whether it is possible to purchase the flip catch on the chrome pannier locks separatly. Mine look a bit tatty and need changed, the lock part is fine. however I wish to keep all the locks the same. So has anyone fitted new pannier catches before? Have you swapped over the locks? Any info or pointers would be great to avoid re inventing the wheel.....

Thanks

The only place I've seen the latches for sale is on E-Bay.. If you're not comfortable swapping the lock cylinders yourself, you can take the latches to a lock-smith and they will do it for you for a fee.

Thanks Mr 1200!
Exactly what I'm looking for,:D was wondering whether these locks are sealed units or not, would like to use only 1 key and the lock part of mine are good, it looks the the hinge part is held in place with a pin that could be drifted out, hoping there was someone out there who had already tried :)
Guess I'll just have to experiment, but these look like a good buy!

Thanks

That's a great deal BB. For what it's worth the part numbers are;

81215-MG9-771 Saddlebag lock assembly
81220-MG9-770 Latch

You can bring the new locks to a locksmith and for about £3 per lock they will get your old key to work with the new locks.
