When I attached the charger I could hear a relay under the trunk click. The key was off. Is that normal??? The fairly new dry cell was dead dead dead !!!

What model bike? Please always include the bike's model in the Title description line.

We don't have a clue as to what schematic to diagnose with.

If you pull off the left cover just behind your left leg is the fuse/relay panel. Check to see which relay is engaging and go from there. No relays should be active with the key in the off position. Might be wiring or the relay itself

I pulled the relay box out and it sounds to be coming from wither behind the saddle bag on under the trunk.

Okay....If I disconnect the RED three wire connector ( second inward from the right saddlebag), the relay quits clicking. Brown white/brown yellow/green

Ah hah !!! Rear suspension wiring.
Now...Since I have a Richland trike kit installed and have the ride set to 0 psi....would it hurt anything to just leave this disconnected?

I would think that the OEM suspension wiring harness has been compromised and you finding out where is not worth the hassle of looking for it.

Leave it disconnected and protect the connectors so they cannot get shorted to anything.
