So I went and got the Wing inspected today and was on my way home and the throttle cable breaks. I coast to a safe place and take the throttle body apart and can see the end of the cable. I take my visegrips, why I have them I will never know, and grab the end of the cable. I start the bike pull on the cable and a way we go. I make it home so my question is how difficult is it to replace the cable and should I replace both? Where is a good place to buy them?

The cables are not too hard to replace, they are much easier than the choke cable anyway. You will need to remove the shelter/console and the false tank panels to get enough room for comfort.

I changed the air filter some time back, two months ago, and never saw the carbs except looking through the filter box. I guess it is time to break out the manual. I guess I will replace both, since I am there an all.

Do I have to remove both the right and left sides or just one? If one which side? Clymer doesn't help.
