1989 Gl1500 My reverse pin was bent on my used bike so I straightened it but when I but it in reverse I push the lever in when it is up but it feels to me the pin goes in but not deep enough so it pops out. Con someone tell me the length of this small pin should be as I can make a new one. Length from the center of the small hole to the other end. Thank you and may you all have a great New Year Ken B.C. Hi Spider007, I,m in the process of installing my motor, so i just happen to have the reverse lever apart. the length from the centre of the hole is 4cm (1inch 9/16) long, hope that helps.
