I finally have my 1500 sidecar rig up and running and am starting to look at the intercom system. I have used the output plug to hook up to my helmet speakers successfully. I would like to communicate with my passenger, but, other thanmicrophones and speakers in the helmets, I don't know what else I need (special cables, etc.) or how to configure it and make it work. The owners manual is real vague on this issue. I do have a second output plug for the passenger on the bike. Any input would be appreciated.

hi paul as you said apart from the head set with speakers and mic, the cord showen you will have to hot wire into the passanger connector under the seat that way you will have your own inter com the passangers and the side car this one is from cyclemax witch has a volume control and cb push to talk button the length is about 3ft you might need to add more cable to it in order to fit into the sidecar
