Will a 1999 Valkyrie Interstate seat fit a 1990 GL1500? And if so is it lower and less width (and by how much)?

It won't fit, some chaps here tried it. The whole design of the saddle is different to the one on the GL1500.

Thanks GWNorman - better that I know! Does anyone have any 'low cost' (less than $150) alternatives for getting a lower seat?

I read somewhere that Honda cut the seat down in the later models beginning in 1994. The effectis these seats are 1 1/2 inches lower & much less comfortable.

I used the 97 seat on my 93, and it was just as comfortable, but over a inch lower than the 93's seat. $261 new from Honda Online Parts.
