I am looking at a '90 Apencade with 136,000 miles on it. Have seen pics so far, looks nice. It is an old friend selling it.
Should I be nervous about that many miles. What are some of the things I should be looking for.

Timing belts have been changed. He does not know about tensioners. I do not know how to check the remaining suggested items and he has not had those checked.
The engine is quiet and smooth, the brakes functioned well, new tires, all body parts intact.
There was oil residue on the bottom metal pan, seemed like exhaust was leaking a little at crossover.
He is asking $2500.
