I am replacing the carburators in the bike with a fresh pair, after the bike has been sitting for a few years. The original carbs are clogged. I began taking the bike apart step by step but I cannot find the screws that hold the carbs to the insulator. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

hi and welcome to the forum you have to remove the lower left and right front cowlings these are the parts that have the fins for the rad fans when you remove same you can see in to the insulators they have 2 band clips on each only lousen the top ones then the carbs will pull up

if you remove the right side fan assembly it will also help you with the two water hoses on the back of the carbs.

yes do what they said and also get a flashlight and a long screwdriver !!!!!
