My 1993 Goldwing is having difficulties starting. I turn on the key and when I press the start button, I can hear the relays clicking under the side cover but the engine doesnt turn over. Usually I can press the start button maybe 6 times and it will finally start up and run fine. Everything else works as its supposed to. Any ideas as to where I should start looking?
Thanks,
Ron

Either you have a bad starter relay or a bad starter. The relay can click but if the points in the relay are pitted it will still click but wont allow voltage to go through. Easiest way to tell check for power at the starter when the button is pressed if there is power and no crank the starter is ng

If it is an aspencade or SE it has 2 starter relays, 1 by the battery and 1 on the frame below the starter. Both have to operate for it to start.
